Adalynn has faced unimaginable challenges since birth. She suffered a stroke and brain bleeds shortly after she was born, which resulted in severe brain damage. Because of this, Adalynn now lives with hydrocephalus, uncontrolled epilepsy, spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy, is legally blind, and depends on a feeding tube. Every day brings new hurdles, but she continues to show incredible strength and resilience. As her parent, I am determined to give her every possible chance to thrive, even when the path is difficult and uncertain. Our greatest goal is to give her the best quality of life.
We are seeking support to take Adalynn for stem cell therapy. This treatment offers hope for reducing inflammation and improving several areas of her life, including cognition, vision, and gross motor skills. It could help relax her tight muscles, making her more comfortable, and it has the potential to reduce the frequency of her seizures. In addition, we want to provide her with intensive therapy—three-week sessions where she would work daily on skills that could lead to significant improvements in her gross motor, fine motor, and communication abilities. Unfortunately, these treatments and therapies are not covered by insurance and come with extreme costs that are beyond our reach alone.
We are so incredibly grateful for all the love and support we have received. We could not do this for Adalynn without any of you. It truly takes a village, and we are blessed to have the very best village out there. Your kindness and generosity mean the world to us, and every contribution brings us closer to giving Adalynn the opportunities she deserves.
