Hello, my sweet daughter Adaline will be needing eye strabismus surgery on June 16th. I have to have the deductible paid in full beforehand. The bill for the surgery afterwards also. This gives me about 20 days to come up with the money. We will also need to stay the night before in Saint Louis as I won’t know the surgery time until the previous day, and it’s over a 5-hour drive with our stops, etc.

This is something she has been struggling with since she was a year and a half old. She will be turning 6 in just a few short months. It is affecting her everyday life tremendously. There is an 80% success rate that surgery will work. The left eye is getting done for sure; as for the right, we are unsure until the day of surgery if they’re going to do that one. They have one more test to do for the right eye. There is a 25% chance that later on in her life, she will need the surgery again. We are hoping for the best, though.

I understand 20 days is very short. We literally had the appointment yesterday, May 21st. Children’s in St. Louis was so helpful in getting everything done and scheduling the surgery the same day! To me, that means it’s pretty serious. This was the first date that they gave me, and I took it. My baby is suffering. Anything and everything you can give will tremendously help! My little girl appreciates all the prayers and donations.
