Adalberto Zanes is an Indigenous elder who lives in Corpus Christi. He is always called on by his city & community to offer prayers — whether it is at museums, city events, powwows, & ceremonies.

THE WHOLE CITY KNOWS AND LOVES HIM. He is deeply proud of his ancestors and wears his regalia proudly, never hiding or ashamed of his roots to this land.

HE WAS TAKEN BY ICE ON AUGUST 11th ON HIS WAY TO WORK

His community is now faced with raising at LEAST $20k to pay for lawyer fees.
