We’re reaching out during a very difficult moment

My sister Ada just welcomed her beautiful baby, Legend, into the world. What should be a time filled only with joy and recovery has instead become a fight for her life. Shortly after giving birth, Ada was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer and has begun an intense and aggressive chemotherapy treatment plan.

As any new parent knows, the first months with a newborn are already physically, emotionally, and financially demanding. Facing cancer on top of that has been overwhelming in ways words can barely capture. Ada is enduring extreme chemotherapy while trying to recover from childbirth and be present for her newborn baby — all while navigating mounting medical bills, treatment costs, lost income, and everyday expenses.

Right now, her only job should be focusing on healing and caring for Legend — not worrying about how to keep up financially during this fight.
