By donating to Actual Size Dance Company, you are enabling further artistic and professional development for early career dancers, choreographers, dramaturgs, producers and other creatives, and will help make an impact for the future of our company. Our company is committed to creating opportunities and harnessing individuals’ uniqueness while pushing them creatively and physically. The money we raise will aid us in moving the company out of the university setting and into the professional industry due to course closure.

With the arts industry taking a toll this past year, we decided to make our latest performance accessible for everyone to watch, and offer our audience the option to donate however much they consider to help us financially support our future artistic endeavours.

Founded in 2005, Actual Size is the University of Surrey student led dance company benefiting artists in their individual expression and physical skills through performance and choreographic opportunities. In 2021, co-artistic directors Adina Dumitrascu and Jasmine Staunton continue the company’s mission: ​

'This year we are working towards pushing the company's boundaries and comfort zones; to tap into our emotions and let them drive the movement of our bodies.'

The raised funds will be used for the following aims:

· To enable opportunities for ASDC alumni and previous Artistic Directors to carry the knowledge and teachings of the course and the company into a professional realm

· To help develop other artists and members of the public through workshops, classes and shows

· To enable networking opportunities for all company alumni

· To always value individuality through creative development whilst being inclusive.
