Hi everyone, I’m Drew Sinclair.

If you know me personally or have followed my journey from my training at Sheffield Hallam University to television screens on Channel 5, you know that acting and performance are my absolute life’s calling. I have poured years of hard work, discipline, and passion into refining my craft. Today, I am reaching out to my friends, family, and the amazing indie film community to ask for your support in reaching a massive milestone in my acting career.

Recently, I had the incredible privilege of starring as one of the lead characters, "Drew", in the indie Kung Fu action-comedy feature film, The Lock In, which was written, directed by, and stars alongside the brilliant Nathan Geering.

Now, the film has achieved something incredible: It is having its World Premiere in Texas this August!

As a lead actor in the project, being physically present at this premiere isn't just about celebrating-it is a vital business and networking opportunity. Independent film festivals are where actors meet international directors, producers, and casting agents who can open doors to future global projects.

Why I Need Your Help

While the film is making its way to the US, the costs of peak-season August flights from the UK to Texas are incredibly high. As an independent actor, funding an international press trip on short notice is a massive hurdle.

I am setting a target of £1,200 to safely cover my return flights to Texas and essential platform travel fees. A baseline economy ticket from Manchester straight to Austin-Bergstrom is currently tracking at £932. Every single penny raised through this page will go directly toward putting me on that plane so I can represent The Lock In on the international stage.
