Help Acton Collaborative Arts Studio After Flood

Donation protected

Dear friends, family, and compassionate community members,

We are reaching out to you in a time of great need to support our beloved studio, Acton Collaborative Arts Studio, our small local business that has recently fallen victim to destructive damage from a devastating flood. The unprecedented flooding caused extensive damage, leaving the owners, Katie, Tim and their young son grappling with the aftermath.

About Acton Collaborative Arts Studio:

We opened our business just 3 short months ago after having to relocate our home studio due to unsafe living conditions and a negligent landlord. We decided to pour our hearts and lives into creating a commercial space for our students and clients. This studio meant the world to us and was a dream for us to create.
Our studio is a humble space that we cherish, providing piano lessons and photography services to the community. Both Katie and Tim rely on this space to provide for their family and provide their services and talents to the community. Our business has not only been a source of livelihood for us but has also been a cornerstone of our community, providing a space for young students to learn and engage with music.

The Devastating Impact:

The recent storm caused a failure in necessary building equipment, resulting in severe flooding that has left our business in shambles. The floodwaters damaged crucial equipment, inventory, and had deemed the building unusable for the foreseeable future. As the owners of the property assess the extent of the damage, we face the uncertainty of all income, damage of musical equipment, photography equipment and an uncertain future for our loyal students and clients.

Why Your Support Matters:

The road to recovery is long, unknown and challenging. The funds raised will be crucial in covering the costs of repairing damage to equipment, replacing damaged inventory, providing a temporary teaching and work space and restoring the business as best as we can. Your support will not only assist in salvaging a local business but will also help preserve jobs and maintain the vibrant spirit of our community.

How You Can Make a Difference:

Every contribution, no matter how big or small, will make a significant impact on our journey to recovery. Even the simple act of sharing our story will be a significant contribution. Your donation will go directly towards rebuilding efforts, supporting the livelihoods of the hardworking owners, and ensuring that Acton Collaborative Arts Studio can once again thrive and contribute to the community.

Thank you for your generosity, compassion, and support in helping us navigate this uncertain and devastating situation.

With gratitude,
Katie and Tim Pyne-Flores
