With Your Support Help Achim Recover From Eaton Fire Tragedy

Hello! My name is Mary Ann Santiago, a passionate educator, and caring citizen living in Los Angeles, California. We are all in disbelief over what happened to our beautiful city.
I know thousands of people were impacted by this horrific tragedy. I am praying for all those affected by the California fires and will do my part to help all communities. My heart goes out to all of you and my service to support all in need will continue.
I wanted to personally reach out to help one of our dearest friends restore and rebuild her life. Her name is Achim Airitam, a loyal and supportive friend, a loving and caring family member, a dedicated employee, and a rising catering company owner. She is one of the hardest working people I know who give so freely to those she meets.
At the start of 2025, we all began with new hopes, dreams, excitement for a better life, and another opportunity for growth and renewal. These are the notions Achim looked forward to fulfilling, in the new year. Unfortunately, on January 8, 2025, she was one of the many people who fell victim to the devastating Eaton fires in Alta Dena, California. What once stood as the home her mom built and provided has now turned into charred black ash and dust. Achim and her neighbors had to succumb to the catastrophic loss of their homes, valuable possessions, and close-knit community. Additionally, her catering company, More Than Bread, has also been affected by the fires. Achim saw 50 years of her family's history, hard work, and beautiful memories go up in flames.
There is a quote that says, " We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give." Our dear friend and sister Achim Airitam never falls short of what this quote truly means. She possesses a big heart, a kind soul, and a strong passion for serving others.
This fund has been set up under the auspices of her friends who love her dearly. The funds will be used for her basic needs such as food, clothing, toiletries, and transportation expenses. I hope you are willing to support our efforts to help her recover and rebuild her life so that she can continue the good work she does for her family, friends, community, and our beautiful city.
