After thoughtful consideration and with my family’s full support, I have decided to take advantage of this unique opportunity—one made possible by the encouragement of our community.

As my family and I carefully planned our budget for this year, our primary financial goal has been to save as much as possible for our daughter, who will be starting college in the fall. To honor this commitment, I made the difficult decision to forgo my gym membership and other personal expenses.

However, in order to stay true to both my commitment to my family and my dream of competing at the Ironman World Championships in Nice, France, I need to raise approximately $5,000. This amount does not include food during travel, a bike tune-up, race-day nutrition, or other essential racing expenses.

My promise to the community and every supporter is to use these funds responsibly, ensuring that any additional contributions are allocated toward the necessary items that will allow me to compete at my best.

Racing at the Ironman World Championships is a dream that many Ironman athletes aspire to. Competing in Kona, Hawaii was one of the greatest moments of my life, and now, having the chance to race on the world stage again—this time in Nice—is an opportunity beyond what I ever imagined.

With this opportunity comes a deep sense of responsibility—to honor every donor and supporter by dedicating myself fully to my training and preparation. I recognize that racing at this event is a privilege, not a necessity, and I do not take it for granted.

It is only through the encouragement and generosity of friends, family, and the wider community that I am able to pursue this dream. Any support you can offer—whether financial or simply words of encouragement—means the world to me.

Milestones:

I need to raise a nonrefundable $1,700 by April 3rd.

I also need to secure pool access which will cost $74/month at the YMCA ($454 for the 6 months) by April 1.

~$900 for flight and bike transport.

Funds to secure lodging shortly thereafter.

Any portion of donated funds not used will go directly into a scholarship for my daughter’s college education.
