Help Achieve A Pinay's Medical Doctor Dream

Hello, I’m Laisa, an aspiring Filipino (naturalised British citizen) medical student studying in a Caribbean school. I've worked tirelessly and used all of my savings to fund my education overseas because it was fairly difficulty to get into UK schools because of my Philippine-acquired educational qualifications.

I have been able to fund myself for the past 3 semesters by working as an occupational therapist during term breaks plus taking out a US private loan. But for the 4th term, I won't be able to work much due to my upcoming adrenalectomy and thus, won't be able to earn. My family and friends have and will help as much as they can, but I won't have enough money to cover my school fees plus living expenses for Semester 4.

Your support will help me continue studying and achieve my dream of becoming a medical doctor. After MED4, I will be hopefully joining clinical rotations in the UK after passing the USMLE STEP1 early 2025 and transferring to University of Warwick.
