Help Aces High Compete at the FRC World Championship
Donation protected
Aces High is a FIRST Robotics team out of Suffield and Windsor Locks, CT that competes in the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC). The team consists of students from Suffield High School, Windsor Locks High School, and the Aerospace Academy. Students spend 8 weeks designing, building, and programming a robot as well as completing outreach, marketing, and other community engagement activities.
Winners of Waterbury and Western New England University District Events, as well as having the ability to participate in the FIRST Robotics District Champs in Springfield, Mass, the team has officially qualified for Worlds in Houston, Texas. Our students have competed in national competitions in the past due to their dedication and commitment and the support of local sponsors. There has been limited fundraising for the past 4 years – a key component for FIRST students to attend competitions as they are wholly responsible for hotel, transportation, food, and robotics materials.
Funds will be utilized to help cover material costs for the robot, students' attendance at the events, event registration, food, travel, and other expenses that come with competing in FRC!
