My name is Audrey Kharisma. While many of you know me as an MBA student currently pursuing my studies in the United States, my heart and my roots remain deeply planted in Sumatra, Indonesia.

As a proud Sumatran, it is heartbreaking to watch the devastating news unfolding in Aceh. Recent torrential rains have triggered severe flooding, submerging homes, destroying infrastructure, and displacing thousands of families.

While I am physically miles away, I cannot stand by while my community suffers. The images of submerged villages and families losing everything they own have compelled me to act.

The immediate needs on the ground are critical. Access to clean water, food, and dry clothing is scarce, and many have lost their livelihoods overnight. I am launching this fundraiser to send immediate aid to those most affected.

Your contribution will go directly toward:

Emergency Rations: Rice, instant food, and clean drinking water.

Hygiene Kits: Soap, sanitary products, and diapers for families with infants.

Medical Supplies: Basic first aid and medicines to prevent waterborne diseases.

Temporary Shelter: Blankets, mats, and tarps for those whose homes are uninhabitable.

Transparency & Logistics: Being in business school, I understand the importance of accountability. I am currently vetting trusted local foundations (Yayasans) and direct relief teams in Aceh to ensure that every dollar raised reaches the victims effectively.

My priority is to partner with an organization that has:

Direct access to the most isolated and impacted areas.

A proven track record of transparency and rapid response.

As soon as the specific beneficiary organization is finalized, I will post an update here.

Once the campaign concludes, I will withdraw the funds to my personal account and transfer 100% of the net proceeds directly to the chosen organization via Wise (for exchange rate efficiency).
