Help Ace Walk Again: Surgery for IVDD Paralysis
Ace is a sweet, loving dog who recently lost the use of his back legs due to a painful spinal condition called Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD). IVDD occurs when the discs between the vertebrae in the spine slip or rupture, putting pressure on the spinal cord. This can cause severe pain, nerve damage, and in Ace’s case — paralysis of his hind legs.
Ace is currently receiving acupuncture and laser therapy treatments to help manage his pain and encourage nerve recovery, but he urgently needs specialized spinal surgery to restore mobility and give him the best chance of walking again.
Unfortunately, Ace’s family is unable to afford the cost of surgery, which is estimated at $3,500. Seeing how much Ace means to his family, English Animal Clinic has stepped in to take responsibility for his care. Our team is working to get Ace into surgery with a specialist so that he can return home to the people who love him most.
We are asking for help from our community to raise the funds needed for Ace’s surgery and ongoing care. Every donation — no matter the amount — brings us one step closer to helping this brave dog regain his mobility and live a happy, pain-free life.
Please consider donating or sharing Ace’s story. Together, we can give Ace the second chance he deserves. ❤️
