HELP... Ace need emergency care!

meet ace a beautiful loving boy husky! he is 6 years old and brings joy to the whole new york city community that gets to witness his spunky personality! he has style and attitude that makes many pedestrians stop and say hello. he is always happy to be greeted and give love to someone to brighten their day!

unfortunately, ace has been diagnosed with Leptospirosis; a blood infection that is caused from rodent urine. as this is his first time living in the city we did not know the severity this infection could cause on his kidney and liver. last night we spent 6 hours having him tested and evaluated at an emergency hospital here in nyc. we were told it would be best for him to be kept in a hospital for the next 48 hours. we were told the cost for overnight for 12 hours alone would be around 5K dollars, but it was likely he would need longer evaluation and cost upwards of $10k +.

We are hardworking owners who never expected this to happen to our fun loving furry friend and companion. We do everything to keep him happy but never expected to need this kind of safety net for our pup who is so vibrant and healthy in all other situations. Making it in this great city can often be tough and we have hit so many road blocks being young men trying to make our way and create a better life for us and Ace.

Out of ideas and in a bit of a rock and hard place due to the cost of veterinary emergency hospital care we are now turning to the public to ask for help! We are aiming to raise $10k to get the love-of-our-life the care he needs to bring back the pep in his step so he can continue to bring joy to the NYC streets.

We are asking you: friends, family, peers and maybe the unknown to help us get Ace the care he needs. We have a quick turn around time but anything you can offer will help.

Should the services be less than $10k we are going to donate the remaining balance to one of NYC premiere shelters or adoption facilities we find near and dear to our hearts! if you have any places you love who do great work for our furry loved ones please drop a line in the comments!
