Ace is truly the sweetest dog. He’s so gentle, loyal, and just wants to be close to me at all times. He loves laying on the couch, being cozy, and just existing near his people. Seeing him struggle to walk right now is hard. :(
Recently, Ace was diagnosed with a torn CCL (the dog equivalent of an ACL) after a vet visit and x-rays. At first, he was managing okay, but his condition has gotten worse quickly. Now he’s struggling to walk and is in visible pain. The vet says the only long-term solution is TPLO surgery, which will relieve his pain and help him get back to being himself.
I’ve already been able to save some money, and while Ace does have pet insurance, I still need to meet the deductible before coverage begins. I’m asking for help to cover the remaining cost so he can have surgery as soon as possible and avoid further pain or complications. For transparency, donations can also be made directly to Leander Veterinary Clinic in Leander, Texas for “Ace Layman’s surgery fund.” I’m happy to share the full estimate with anyone who would like to see it.
Ace is my baby, and I just want to get him out of pain and back to enjoying life. Even the smallest donation or a share means the world to us. Thank you so much for your kindness and support.
