Ace came into our lives eight years ago and has been the sweetest, most loving companion ever since. My son had always dreamed of having a dog, but with my daughter’s busy dance schedule, it never seemed possible. Then we found Ace, and everything changed. My son was 15 at the time, and I told him Ace would be his responsibility. From day one, Ace has lit up not just my son’s heart, but mine and my daughter’s as well. He loves us unconditionally, and we feel the same about him.

About a year ago, Ace had a freak accident that left us all scared. Thankfully, his injuries were superficial, but he developed a seroma that required surgery. Not long after, my son found a lump on Ace. After testing, it was found to be cancerous, but we were grateful it could be removed. Now, Ace has two more lumps in his mouth and a few developing throughout his body. The ones in his mouth are making it painful for him to eat, and it’s heartbreaking to see him in discomfort.

We want to give Ace the surgery he needs so he can get back to enjoying life with his family. The cost is more than we can manage alone, so we’re reaching out for help. Any support you can give means the world to us and will help our sweet boy continue to be the light in our lives.
