Hi, my name is Katelyn. And this is about my 13-year-old boy named Ace. I recently took him from a family member to keep him myself. He's never seen a vet until I got him. At his vet visit, I went in for a bad cough he had. I showed his vet a video of him in the action coughing, and she ended up taking a test, and he tested positive for heartworms. It's not what I expected.

The downside is he has the bad symptoms. He turns pale if he walks for more than 2 minutes, he coughs every couple of seconds to minutes, and the worms have spread to his lungs. Fortunately though, it's treatable! 

i went to a vet and it was a total of $1,400 but i found a cheaper place in dallas that will do it for $500! i can cover $300 of that so i will need help with $200 but we also wanted to do x-rays and blood work! so it’ll just go back to me needing help with $400-$500.
