Help Ace, Angel, and Pax Avoid Eviction
Hi, my name is Ace, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your help.
My wife, Angel, our service dog Paximus (Pax), and I are facing an urgent financial crisis and are at risk of eviction.
I graduated high school at 15 and earned my bachelor’s degree at 20 just last year, which reflects my dedication to hard work. But despite all my efforts, I’m now stuck. Angel was recently diagnosed with POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome), which has left her unable to work. Unfortunately, her disability benefits are still delayed, and Medicaid coverage has been denied, leaving us struggling to cover even basic expenses.
I’ve also been hurt at work, which has led to reduced hours. The injury I sustained interferes with my ability to drive, making it even harder to find alternative sources of income. While I can’t share details about my workers' comp case, it’s been a major factor in our financial strain.
We’ve been trying to make ends meet by DoorDashing, but Angel’s car is in poor condition—without power steering, it’s unsafe to drive.
We opened our home to tenants in need, but unfortunately, they took advantage of our kindness. They refused to pay rent, now owing us over $1,400, and moved out to avoid paying. On top of that, the damages and stolen property bring the total they owe us to nearly $2,000.
How You Can Help:
We urgently need $1,330 by February 24, 2025, at the absolute latest to avoid eviction. Right now, we owe a total of $2,800 in rent and utility bills. Any support, no matter the amount, would mean the world to us and help us keep our home.
Why This Matters:
Without a stable place to live, we risk losing everything—including Pax, my service dog, who helps me manage my C-PTSD. We’re doing everything we can, but we can’t do it without your support.
If you can, please consider donating or sharing our campaign. Every little bit brings us closer to keeping our home and moving toward recovery. Thank you for your kindness and support.
