My rescue partner, AC (@animaladvocacynet), has dedicated his life to saving animals in crisis. Whether it’s driving cross-country to give dogs their freedom rides or braving natural disasters to rescue all kinds of animals, AC’s commitment to helping those in need is unwavering. He’s the kind of person who puts the well-being of animals above his own, always ready to answer the call for help, no matter how challenging the circumstances.

Recently, AC’s journey took a difficult turn. During his birthday week and over Christmas vacation, he was rear-ended by a big rig on icy roads while transporting dogs. Thankfully, the two dogs still in his vehicle were unharmed, but AC suffered injuries and lost his vehicle—the lifeline for his rescue work. Just last night, after another transport, AC and a fellow rescuer risked their own safety to save a stranded dog across a river. The rescue was successful, but the tide became too strong for them to cross back, and emergency services had to intervene. AC’s car was impounded, causing him to lose several transports and face additional personal hardships.

Despite these setbacks, AC’s spirit remains strong, but the financial strain is becoming overwhelming. Medical bills, the need for a new vehicle, and ongoing transport costs are making it difficult for him to continue his vital rescue work.
