The cost of just the chemotherapy is $168,000 in total. This does not include any other expenses for treatment and doctors and such. Before being diagnosed, he started a new job. Two appointments into being diagnosed, his old job's insurance ended.

He has NO insurance until the new one kicks in in about six weeks. Even when it kicks in, they will NOT cover the cancer treatments retroactively.
