My name is Kian Danaee and I am raising money for my friend Abu Mohammed and his four children, Mohammad, Bisam, Jawad, and Hanan.
In 2024 the Israeli occupation bombed his home in Gaza City, killing his wife Fatima and displacing his family. Abu Mohammed spends his days searching for water and food, hiding from the occupation forces and the heat during the day, and moving whenever sounds of war come near.
On Saturday 5/17 Henan was struck by a missile fragment. Her injuries were thankfully minor, but medication to treat the wound is hard to come by. The attack is also a reminder that it is not safe to even play outside.
Gaza is besieged: fresh food is exorbitantly expensive, and flour for bread is difficult to find. They have only been eating a handful of lentils. At the moment it costs about $50 per week for enough flour for the whole family to eat two small meals a day.
Your donation will provide Abu Mohammed and his family with food, water, medicine, and shelter until they are in a more secure situation. He hopes to rebuild his home in Gaza City one day.
Thank you for your support!
