Help Abraham's Heart Surgery Journey

We are Kelsey and David our son is Abraham. Abraham is 2.5 years old and he was born with a congenital heart defect. His defect is called a VSD, which means he has a large hole between the two ventricles. The hole has been monitored by his cardiologist every 4-6 months since birth. It’s no longer closing and extra muscle is growing at the base of the two heart chambers. Abraham is now in need of open heart surgery to repair the hole and to remove the excess muscle growth. If he doesn’t have the surgery he will experience heart failure. His surgery is scheduled for the end of May. There are no pediatric cardiac surgeons in Alaska, so we will have to go out of state. We are raising money to help cover the cost of associated with traveling to Seattle for the surgery and Abraham’s recovery.
