Help Abraham Attend Camp in South Africa

My name is Yanit Zablow, and I am the proud mother of Abraham Zablow, a 16-year-old student at Hillel Academy of Pittsburgh. From the time Abraham was little, I always taught him that being born Jewish is one of life’s greatest gifts. Deep in my heart, I prayed that one day he would truly connect to his Yiddishkeit and develop a personal relationship with HASHEM.

When Abraham began learning for his Bar Mitzvah with Rabbi Yitzi Goldwasser of The Chabad of Greenfield, the Rabbi patiently taught him from the very beginning. After his Bar Mitzvah, Abraham continued learning weekly with Rabbi Goldwasser, steadily strengthening his Jewish education and connection. Rabbi Goldwasser encouraged Abraham to attend Camp CK Gan Israel, and from that moment, our lives changed forever. I will never forget the phone call I received from camp when Abraham told me, “Mom, I found HASHEM.” As a mother, there are moments that stay in your soul forever, and this was one of them. Abraham made a personal commitment to wear his Kippa and Tzizis every single day because he truly connected to the beauty and meaning of living a Torah life.

Watching my son become inspired by Torah, Yiddishkeit, and Chassidishkeit has been one of the greatest blessings of my life. He now has a genuine thirst to learn, grow, and deepen his connection to Judaism. He constantly wants to learn more, understand more, and surround himself with positive Torah influences.

As a single mother, I have always tried my best to support Abraham through every challenge life has brought us. No matter what, I have stood beside him with love, encouragement, and endless prayers to HASHEM that he would find his path spiritually and emotionally. This camp did more than give Abraham a summer experience — it helped shape his identity, strengthen his emunah, and awaken something deeply beautiful inside of him.

Donations will help cover the camp fees, travel expenses, and supplies needed for Abraham to attend the camp and continue his spiritual growth. Support, whether through encouragement or donations, is always uplifting and will help Abraham pursue this meaningful experience.
