Abraham Nyame is a remarkable 22-year-old from Gomoa, a vibrant fishing and farming community in Ghana’s central region. As the third of twelve children, Abraham has always carried big dreams and even bigger responsibilities. For three years, he worked as a barber, cutting hair to support himself and his family, all while holding onto his dream of attending university and becoming a financial analyst. While his friends moved on to further their education, Abraham worked long hours, not because he lacked ambition, but because life’s circumstances made it difficult to pursue his goals. Despite these challenges, he never gave up. He spent his days working and his nights studying, determined to change his future.
Abraham’s perseverance paid off when he was accepted into the University of Cape Coast to study for a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Finance. However, the cost of tuition, hostel fees, and living expenses threatened to close the door on his dreams once again. That’s when a group of supporters stepped in to help him cover his initial admission and fees, ensuring he could enroll. Now, with the support of mentors and coaches, Abraham is on the path to achieving his goals, but he still needs help to continue his education.
This fundraiser is dedicated to covering Abraham’s university fees, hostel costs, and essential living expenses so he can focus on his studies and build a brighter future for himself, his family, and his community. Every contribution helps keep his dream alive and gives him the chance to make a lasting impact.
