Help Aboud's family rebuild their lives

My name is Hafsah, I live in the UK and I am raising money for Aboud’s wonderful family in Gaza who have lost everything.

In their own words:

Abdullah.. The Little Man Who Lost Everything Except Hope

I am Abdullah, 10 years old, living in Khan Yunis, but I do not live a normal childhood like other children. I did not say “I am a child” because I was deprived of my childhood.

I lost my father when I was seven years old, and we lived in a beautiful house full of memories, but now it has become rubble due to recent events. After the bombing, we were displaced to a tent with my family of 7, where living is harsh, and life has become very difficult.

Stories of pain and suffering

My brother Sharif, got married a short time ago, and after putting all his effort into building his house, he was not even able to live in it before it was destroyed.

My brother Ashraf, was the top of his class at university, and he dreamed of a bright future, but his university was severely damaged and he was unable to complete his studies.

Our whole life has changed... We have nothing left but this tent that does not protect us from the cold or the heat, and does not provide us with any decent life.

Why are we asking for your help?

We have previously launched a campaign, but unfortunately, we faced challenges in receiving the funds and were unable to access them. Therefore, we are asking for your support once again to help us build a new future.

Every donation, no matter how small, will give us hope for a better life.

Donations will help to cover the costs of living in Gaza which has increased dramatically – food, medical supplies, warm clothing for the cold months etc. If we are forcibly displaced to a new country, it will also help us continue to cover the costs of living necessities, as well as transportation and expensive rent for our family accommodation since we no longer have a source of income.

And if you are unable to donate, the simplest thing you can do is share the link with your friends and on your social media accounts.

عبدالله.. الرجل الصغير الذي فقد كل شيء إلا الأمل

أنا عبدالله، أبلغ من العمر 10 سنوات، أعيش في خان يونس، لكنني لا أعيش طفولة طبيعية كغيري من الأطفال. لم أقل “أنا طفل” لأنني حُرمت من طفولتي.

فقدتُ أبي عندما كنت في السابعة من عمري، وكنا نعيش في بيت جميل مليء بالذكريات، لكنه الآن أصبح ركامًا بسبب الأحداث الأخيرة. بعد القصف، نزحنا إلى خيمة مع عائلتي المكونة من 7أفراد، حيث المعيشة فيها قاسية، والحياة أصبحت صعبة جدًا.

قصص من الألم والمعاناة

• أخي شريف، تزوج قبل فترة قصيرة، وبعد أن بذل كل جهده لبناء منزله، لم يتمكن حتى من العيش فيه قبل أن يُدمَّر.

• أخي أشرف، كان الأول على دفعته في الجامعة، وكان يحلم بمستقبل مشرق، لكن جامعته تضررت بشدة ولم يتمكن من إكمال دراسته.

• حياتنا كلها تغيرت.. لم يبقَ لنا شيء سوى هذه الخيمة التي لا تحمينا من البرد أو الحر، ولا توفر لنا أي حياة كريمة.

لماذا نطلب مساعدتكم؟

لقد أنشأنا حملة سابقة، ولكن للأسف، واجهنا تحديات في استلام الأموال ولم نتمكن من الوصول إليها. لذلك، نطلب دعمكم مرة أخرى لمساعدتنا في بناء مستقبل جديد.

كل تبرع، مهما كان بسيطًا، سيمنحنا الأمل بحياة أفضل.

ستساعد التبرعات في تغطية تكاليف المعيشة في غزة التي زادت بشكل كبير - الغذاء والإمدادات الطبية والملابس الدافئة للأشهر الباردة وما إلى ذلك. إذا تم تهجيرنا قسراً إلى بلد جديد، فسيساعدنا ذلك أيضًا في الاستمرار في تغطية تكاليف الضروريات المعيشية، بالإضافة إلى النقل والإيجار الباهظ لسكن عائلتنا لأننا لم نعد نملك مصدر دخل.
