Hi, I’m Melissa, based in the US, and I’m asking for help in raising money for my friend Abdullah Amin Nasser, “Aboud.”
Last June, Aboud's entire family was killed in an airstrike on his family’s home in Khan Younis. His beloved parents, siblings, in-laws, nieces, and nephews are gone— 23 people, wiped out in an instant. He has one sister left in the north.
Aboud, 23, is now living on the streets with no support because he couldn’t make rent. We’re trying to raise money so he can get a place to live, food, and go to university. Long-term, he wants to go to nursing school.
“I was an emergency paramedic and I also worked in the civil defense for fires and rescue. I originally hold a certificate as a home electrical engineer. But, I want to specialize in first aid and nursing in order to help people and those in need. I want to complete my studies. I want to fulfill my dream and my family's dream of becoming a doctor or a nurse.”
All of the beautiful people you see in these photos were killed by the occupation last year. In the main photo are his brother, Zain, and niece, Wardia.
