Hello! My name is George Murphy from the United States, here to fundraise for and share with you the story of a family in occupied Gaza. Here is their statement:
I am Abdul Rahman Mounir, also known as Aboud. I am 19 years old and a resident of northern Gaza.
Before the occupation, one my favorite things to do was play soccer. I actually won the soccer championship at my college, here is a photo of my team.
Our house was bombed, and when the army entered Gaza they took my father. My family was left with no choice but to flee to southern Gaza where we eventually reached Rafah. Here is one of the bombs that fell on our house which fortunately did not explode.
After that, the occupation expelled us from Rafah, and so now we are in Deir al-Balah, central Gaza. We live in a tent that does not protect us from the cold of winter or the heat of summer.
If you can spare any amount, it would be greatly appreciated. If not, at the very least please share this page so it gets to as many people as possible. Money will get to the family through the money transferring service Western Union and will be spent on necessities such as food, water, and medical treatment.
