I am asking for help for Abner, my beloved dog, who is critically ill. The night of November 3, Abner suddenly became sick, and he got significantly worse overnight. Since Wednesday morning, November 4, he has been in the ICU at Orchard Park Veterinary Medical Center receiving intense, round-the-clock care. Right now, his prognosis is still unknown, and we do not know how long he will need to remain in the ICU. This has been heartbreaking and overwhelming, especially because his care has already exceeded $8,000 and continues to rise.

Abner has been a beloved therapy dog his whole life. At Buffalo General Medical Center, ECMC, and the Buffalo Niagara International Airport, he has brought comfort, healing, and smiles to literally thousands of people. Now I am asking our community to please support Abner in his time of need. Your donations will help cover his ICU care at Orchard Park Veterinary Medical Center as we do everything we can for him.
