My name is Abigail, and I am a Criminal Justice student at John Jay College. I enrolled in the Fall 2025 semester, but life is currently testing my dreams.

When I came to the United States, I did so with a commitment from my sponsor to pay my tuition fees. Unfortunately, I am now at a point where I no longer have a sponsor, and the Spring semester is fast approaching.

Because there is a hold on my student account, I am unable to register for classes. This means I may not be able to continue school, which could affect my legal status in the United States.
