Help Abigail serve God through Medical Missions
Donation protected
Hello,
My daughter, Abigail (the one on the left), has a heart to serve God. She has been actively serving in our local church and more recently, Abigail came to my wife and I and again expressed her desire to serve God through a missions trip with Truth for Today Medical Missions.
She reminded us that when the missionary came last year, we said we would think about it. As the missionary presented the work this year, she looked to us again for a decision. We don't want to stand in the way of a young teenage girl wanting to serve God so we told her that we would go if we could raise the money.
She has been helping clean a friend's house to start saving while balancing school work, chores around the farm, and serving God faithfully. She joins me during visitation on Saturdays, serves in our bus ministry, and in Jr Church. She also serves through the nursery and volunteers with DirectLine Ministry during Joy Bag season to help spread the gospel around the world.
This trip will allow Abigail and I to join Truth for Today Medical Missions to serve in the friendly country of Ghana West Africa. There we join the team with a wonderful group of missionaries and national pastors in the city of Kumasi. They will hold clinics in six remote villages in the surrounding area where we will be aiding in church planting efforts and community outreach for the benefit of the local church.
The missionary has always seen a great need for medical care and eyeglasses in Ghana. They expect to be quite busy and there will be ample need on this team for both medical and non-medical volunteers. Abigail and I would serve in the eyeglasses clinic, sharing the gospel, and wherever else we are needed.
Your support will go to covering the cost of airfare, in country transportation, food, hotel and equipment for the mission trip scheduled for 20 Oct-1 Nov 2023. You can find out more about the trip and the work at Truth for Today Medical Missions
Any gift great or small will be appreciated.
