Hi! I’m Alysa, Abi & Kenzie's sister. I’m doing this to help them raise money for their dog, Callie.

On Sunday, suddenly for no reason, she seemed a little lethargic and then vomited once but would not play or eat. By Monday morning, she could barely walk and her eyes were lifeless, so Abi took her to the emergency vet and she was diagnosed with immune-mediated hemolytic anemia. They gave her a blood transfusion and she had a severe reaction to that. Abi and Kenzie got a call to rush her to the Emergency Pet Hospital (University of Penn) last night.

She was in critical condition when they arrived and the ER staff assessed her and admitted her right away. Abi and Kenzie stayed with her overnight and the internal medicine doctor said she would have to have several blood transfusions and stay for 5-6 more days. This is obviously costing them thousands of dollars, but they love Callie and want to do everything they can. The doctor has assured them that once they get her meds right and get her stabilized, she should be able to live a normal rest of her life. These next few days will be touch and go for Callie, but everyone is praying for her. And with their first human baby on the way - the timing is obviously not good for them. So we are hoping to raise some money to help with the medical costs for Callie! So she can come home and be the best big doggie sister that they have all been hoping for!!
