Hi everyone,

I’m raising funds for my friend Abi, her partner Nick, and their dog Misty after a really frightening incident that has left their home badly damaged.

Abi and her family live in their motorhome, which they recently put through its MOT and take great pride in. Sadly, a stolen Mini being chased by police was driven at high speed down the byway where they were parked. The driver lost control and crashed straight into Abi’s home while she was inside.

The impact ripped away part of the wall and the bumper, causing significant damage and leaving them facing unexpected and urgent repair costs. It was an incredibly traumatic experience for Abi, who in that moment feared losing her home. Misty was also very shaken by the crash.

Unfortunately, they are unlikely to receive any immediate financial support from the police or the person responsible, and any process could take a long time, time they simply don’t have when it comes to repairing their home and keeping it safe.

This has come completely out of the blue, and like many of us, Abi simply doesn’t have the funds set aside for an emergency like this, especially after already investing in getting her home roadworthy.

Abi, Nick and Misty are such a kind, genuine little family. Anyone who knows them knows how caring and supportive they are to others, and now they really need that support in return.

I’m hoping we can come together to help them repair their home and get things back to normal.

Every donation, no matter how small, will go directly towards fixing the damage.
