I’m starting this fundraiser to support Abi, the daughter of my neighbour, and her 7-year-old daughter after they were affected by a fire in their block of flats.

Although the fire started in a neighbouring flat, it has had a serious impact on Abi’s home and her belongings. Sadly, Abi didn’t have house insurance, which has made this situation even more difficult.

Abi is currently between jobs and, following the fire, has had to move back in with her mum temporarily while they work out how to rebuild and replace some of the essentials that were lost. Her mum is even picking up extra hours at work to help support Abi and her granddaughter during this difficult time.

Abi is a caring mum who is doing her best to keep things as normal as possible for her little girl during what has been a very stressful and upsetting experience.

This fundraiser is simply to help Abi and her daughter get through the next few weeks, helping with basic essentials and some of the immediate costs of starting again.
