Hello, I am Abed. My life was like any normal person in G@za. I go to my simple work in the morning and return to my simple family, consisting of my wife and four young children, with a small amount of money at night. My life was beautiful until October 7th came to begin a journey of suffering from pain, displacement, and separation from loved ones. The war was very violent at first, and our area was somewhat calm until one day we woke up to the b0mbing of the house of one of our neighbors in the area. I had no choice but to rush to protect my children, wife, and family from the remnants of the bombing. I then set off to the bombed house to help evacuate the injured and martyrs. Two days after the incident, my wife’s family was displaced to my house, which is no more than 100 square meters, coming from northern G@za, so I supported my wife, children and wife's family and we faced many difficulties due to the lack of food supplies and cooking gas. We started using wooden sticks to cook food at home until January 4th came and we were surprised by the entry of milit@ry t@nks and s0ldiers into our area without prior warning and the sh3lls were falling around us like rain. I took my children, wife and her family and we succeeded in escaping from certain death. The journey of displacement began. We were about 22 people with no shelter or food. We only left the house in our clothes. We started looking for a place to set up a tent from some wood and nylon that we got from a benefactor. We set up our tent only to sleep from extreme exhaustion. Then the next day we woke up to organize the place and the suffering of getting water. We would walk long distances to get water. We were suffering from the bitter cold and harmful insects in the place. Despite that, we adapted to our current situation despite the challenges we faced. One day, I woke up to the shocking and sad news that my older brother, Muhammad, was martyred. A sniper shot me, may God have mercy on him, and the world turned black in my eyes. It was a sad day for all my family. Then I brought my brother’s children. The martyr is in my tent, and they have no one to support them except me. The days passed, and my wife's father was afflicted with kidney disease, and after two weeks he died from lack of medical care, as there are no hospitals to accommodate chronic patients, and there is not enough medicine for them. The days change around us, and I, my children, and my family are living the worst days of our lives. Our suffering increases day after day, and our fear of missiles, and the suffering of the cold, frost, and harmful insects around us, and waiting for the unknown until I wake up to a horrific incident, which is the commission of a massacre in the true sense of the word against my cousins, and 11 members of my family were martyred as a result of being targeted by a missile that led to their deaths. I cannot describe the scene, as words fail to describe the massacres I saw on this day, and I am still waiting. Will I return to my previous life, or will I wait for sudden death from the bombing, lack of food, or from the severe cold? I do not know what will happen in the coming days, but I expect the worst, so I hope that you all will help me and my family to get out of this bad situation. Save us in the name of all humanity.
