Abe Khalil Lymphoma Fund
Donation protected
This month, Abraham "Abe" Khalil received the unexpected diagnosis of Hodgkin Lymphoma at just 30 years old. Hodgkin Disease is a rare cancer of the lymphatic system which is apart of the immune system. Abe starts chemotherapy treatment today, May 22nd. It was a complicated path for Abe to finally arrive at this diagnosis, through many providers and health systems. He can now get the care he needs, but the diagnosis has shocked and devastated the Khalil family. We’re hoping to help him with treatments, travel and other expenses as he takes time off work and navigates the intricacies of the health care insurance system.
We have started this fund as close friends of Khalil & Sara. We all know the journey life has taken them on recently. As members of the medical community and first responders, let’s take this opportunity to help take care of our own. Every little bit goes a long way.
We also ask for prayers for healing, hope and patience for Abe and the Khalil family as they take this on. We believe he will be fully healed and lead a long, healthy life beyond Lymphoma.
Abe will still be in active treatment at the time of Khalil and Sara's wedding this fall.
