Abdul is an elderly member of our community who embraced Islam in the mid-1970s. Throughout his life, he has shown resilience and faith, but now he faces one of his most difficult trials. Recently laid off from work, Abdul is struggling to make ends meet. There is not a single item of food in his household, and he is approximately four weeks away from losing his studio apartment. At this stage of his life, these challenges are especially hard, and he is in urgent need of support.

Abdul is currently being sued for unpaid arrears, and without help, he risks losing the roof over his head. He is also working to obtain his birth certificate so he can apply for a retirement plan, but until then, he has no income or resources to rely on. The funds raised will go directly toward paying off his arrears, covering groceries, and helping him stay afloat until he can secure his future.
