I am a math tutor in the United States for the past 22 years and have a friend from a country in western African country named Abdoulie who is a teacher and have known him for 7 years. He teaches 6th grade but doesn't have the full college education due to finances, so his salary is very poor. I talk to him on video call periodically at his rented home and in his classroom and once sent some art supplies to his school. Another friend of mine who recently passed away came into some money a few months ago after her husband passed and said she always wanted to help the poor in another country. She sent money to my friend for books and other supplies for the whole school and then more for him to have a home built, instead of renting a run-down shack. The problem is that he is still a little short on funds (about $2000) needed for a corrugated metal roof, doors, and windows. I promised that I would ask around to see if anyone can help.
