❤️ We Lost Our Home in Gaza — Now We’re Struggling Just to Survive

After nearly 900 days of war, we have nothing left — no home (31°31'20.1"N 34°28'37.5"E), no income, no safe place to live.
We are five people living in a single room, without privacy, without stability, and without dignity.
Your support today is not charity — it is survival.

Everything We Built Is Gone
Our family home was completely destroyed — reduced to rubble in a single moment.
With it, we lost everything.
Before the war, we built our life through hard work. We founded Ristretto Coffee Lab, a well-known and respected café in Gaza that supported students, freelancers, and the local community. It was more than a business — it was a space for ideas, connection, and hope.

Our work was even recognized and covered by international media, highlighting its role in the community.
Today, it is completely destroyed.
Even what remained was looted.
There is no way to return to it.

Our Reality Now: Living Without Privacy or Dignity
We are now living in a rented apartment in western Gaza.
But we only have one room.
Inside this same apartment live:
• Our family (5 people)
• My wife’s family (8 people)
• Her married brother
This means more than 13 people sharing one space.
There is:
• ❌ No privacy
• ❌ No quiet
• ❌ No rest
I cannot sit alone with my wife for even a single moment.
This is not a home.
This is survival without dignity.

Daily Struggles Just to Live
Even the most basic needs have become extremely difficult.
Clean drinking water is not easily available.
A single bottle now costs around $2, which is a heavy burden with no income.
Movement is also unsafe and limited:
• No reliable transportation
• Dangerous and unstable conditions
• Constant fear of escalation or targeted strikes
Even leaving the house can feel like a risk.

‍‍‍ A Family Torn Apart, Yet Still Trying
My extended family is displaced across different areas in Gaza — north and south.
I cannot reach them.
Despite everything:
• My wife is continuing her Master’s degree in Community Mental Health, determined to support children in Gaza after the war.
• I continue working as an education initiative volunteer, moving between temporary learning spaces (tents) to help children continue learning.
Because even in war — education must continue.

Our Children Deserve a Future
Our children are trying to continue their education in the middle of chaos.
But this is not a normal childhood.
They are growing up in:
• Fear
• Instability
• Loss
All we want is to protect them and give them a chance at a future.

Why We Are Asking for Your Help
We are not asking to rebuild our business.
We are not asking for a new life.
We are asking for something basic:
To live with dignity.

Our 6-Month Survival Needs
To support our family of five, we are raising funds for essential living costs:
• Rent in Gaza: $750 × 6 = $4,500
• Food & basic needs: $500 × 6 = $3,000
• Children’s education: $1,500
• Health & emergency needs: $1,200
• Transportation & communication: $800
Subtotal: $11,000
Due to high fees required to access cash inside Gaza (up to 25–30%), the total goal is:
$15,000

❤️ We Are Starting From Zero
• No home
• No income
• No savings
Only a daily struggle to survive.

Your Support Means Everything
Your donation will help us:
• Provide shelter
• Secure food and clean water
• Support our children’s education
• Live with basic human dignity

Please stand with us.
Your support today is what keeps us going. ❤️
