From Abdallah:
Dear friends and kind supporters,
My name is Abdallah, and I am reaching out to you with a heartfelt plea to help my family in Gaza. The ongoing war has devastated our lives, leaving my loved ones in desperate need. They are currently living in tents, facing unbearable conditions and struggling with high prices for basic necessities.
I have managed to find safety in Egypt, and my hope is to bring my family here to join me. However, the process to secure their passage to safety requires $5,000 per person. Your generous contributions will not only help provide immediate relief for their survival but also pave the way for a safer, more stable future.
Every donation, no matter the size, will make a significant impact. Your support can bring hope and safety to my family during this incredibly difficult time.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kindness and generosity.
With gratitude,
Abdallah
From Organizer
I am Jacob Lee Bollom, a service member and Veteran from Texas. Today, I ask your generosity and empathy for a young man and his family in dire need. His name is Abdallah Hatim Abduljawad Al Abadla (Instagram:@a.dolla) from Gaza, Palestine. Abdallah's The occupation has made it impossible for many Palestinians reach medical care, aid, and any access to essential items to survive.
Abdallah's story reached me through my wife, Iliana, also known as iligummies, whose activism and advocacy brought his plight to our attention. Since October 2023, she has helped Abdallah and his family, providing essential support for their survival amidst the harsh realities of Gaza since October various times.
After learning their situation, I sent money through Western Union before the occupation destroyed it. Additionally, Iliana has facilitated communication for Abdallah with an ESIMS card, ensuring he remains connected to his loved ones and support network, but in order to maintain this ESIMS connected, she has asked her friend @Keli_Rosa to recharge it since my wife is solely focused on helping another Palestinian and his family with 140 refugees in Gaza.
Abdallah's medical condition, akin to my late grandmother's battle with type 1 diabetes, strikes a personal chord within me. He is a young man with a promising future, deserving of every opportunity to receive the care he urgently requires. Now that Abdallah was able to reach safety, we want to help his family who's in dire need of funds to survive this genocide.
How the Funds will be used:
We hope to bring his family to join Abdallah in Egypt. However, the process to secure their passage to safety requires $5,000 per person. As you know the borders are currently closed but once they open, we want to be able to have this money ready for evacuation. We may use these funds in the meantime to provide food and shelter for Abdallah's family in Gaza.
Your contribution, no matter the size, will make a tangible difference in their life. Let us unite in solidarity to bring Abdallah's family to safety, away from the horrors of conflict and towards a future filled with hope.
Should you have any questions, please email this GoFundMe as it goes directly to my email. Should Abdallah need more financial assistance him or his family, we will increase the goal but for now, this is all we need, and I believe we can reach it.
Sincerely,
Jacob Lee Bollom
