Please Help Abd and his family from Gaza

Dear Friends,

I am Abdul Rahman, reaching out to you alongside my family: my wife, our two-year-old daughter Layan, and our seven-month-old son Ahmed who was born just a month before the conflict.

We are writing to you from our temporary shelter in a displacement camp in southern Gaza, as our home at 11 Omar Mukhtar Street, ElRemal, Gaza, Palestine, a city we hold dear, has been ravaged and reduced to rubble by the relentless conflict.

For the fourth time, we find ourselves displaced, our home destroyed by the war that has consumed our beloved Gaza City. Prior to this devastation, I led a fulfilling life, working as an administrator at the renowned LC Waikiki Mall. My master’s degree in business administration, a testament to my dedication to education, had paved the way for this role. However, the war has left us homeless and jobless, with no income for the past five agonizing months.

The images attached bear witness to the destruction that has befallen us. They depict the ruins of my workplace and our home. Words fall short in conveying the extent of our loss.

The war, showing no mercy, has stretched on for over 200 days. With each passing day, our resources deplete further, and the birth of our son has only amplified our desperate need for aid.

Here is a breakdown of our campaign goal:

$5,000 for the high cost of living under war conditions until we can travel to Egypt.

$15,000-$20,000 to cover the cost of leaving Gaza and traveling to Egypt, a necessary step given the ongoing conflict.

$400 for four passports.

$400 for transportation and other travel-related expenses.

$2,000 to replace our lost belongings, including toys for Layan and Ahmed, and essential items for all of us.

$3,000 to rent an apartment in Egypt for at least five months.

$10,000 for living expenses in Egypt (including milk, diapers, baby food, and other necessities we’ve been deprived of for six months) until we can return to Gaza after the war.

$30,000 to repair our destroyed home upon our return to Gaza after the war.
