Hi. I’m Abby, and I need help for medical and final expenses. On May 9th 2024 my life changed. My mom was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. She went out of work for a year while she battled with chemo and radiation. In September of that year, Hurricane Helene hit Western North Carolina after a period of rainstorms already. This devastated the area we live in and destroyed our road making it impossible for us to leave by car. Mom and I walked for miles in two days trying to get the rest of the family help. Mom was right in the middle of chemo at that moment. Helicopters rescued the family. Mom eventually went through radiation and surgery and thankfully went into remission in November last year. May 9, 2025, my dad was diagnosed with Stage 4 gastrointestinal cancer metastatic to most organs in his body. Doctors are giving him, not very long. They cannot give him treatment because it won’t help and may make him sicker than he already is. We were very very caught off guard for how bad it already is, and will need money so mom can take off of work to be with him and save money for a service and final expenses when that time comes.
