Help Abby Shafer Pursue Her Dream of Becoming a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist

Dear friends, family, and compassionate supporters,

My name is Ryan Borel, and I am reaching out to you to help my partner, Abby Shafer, continue her education in pursuit of her dream. Abby is an incredible, driven individual who is currently working toward a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a focus on Speech-Language Pathology and Pediatric Neurodevelopment. She is passionate about helping children overcome communication and developmental challenges, and her long-term goal is to move on to graduate school and make a lasting impact as a speech-language pathologist.

Two years ago, Abby was studying art when she was diagnosed with autism. The diagnosis led her to meet Madison (pictured above), and Madison inspired her to change her major to psychology. Abby’s dream is to one day help non-speaking kids communicate basic needs and be able to express themselves.

However, Abby is currently facing a financial barrier to continuing her education. To enroll for the upcoming spring semester, Abby needs $3,000 to cover tuition and other essential academic expenses. This financial support will allow her to continue her studies and stay on track with her dream of becoming a speech-language pathologist, ultimately helping children needing communication support.
