Help Abby Save Her Vision – Urgent Eye Surgery Needed

Hi, my name is Abby Sofía Berrio Cera. I am 8 years old, in 3rd grade, and I live in Bogotá, Colombia.

Earlier this year, my eye became very red and painful. At first, doctors gave me eye drops, but they didn’t work. My condition quickly got worse, and it became difficult for me to even open my eye.

After seeing a specialist, my parents learned that I have a serious condition in my right eye and need urgent surgery to save my vision. Without this operation, I could lose my right eye.

My family has done everything they can to get help through our healthcare provider, but the surgery has not been approved. Unfortunately, we do not have the financial resources to pay for this procedure on our own—and time is running out.

We are trying to raise $2,000 to cover the cost of this life-changing surgery. Every moment matters, and every contribution brings me closer to getting the care I urgently need.

Ayuda a Abby a Salvar Su Visión – Cirugía Ocular Urgente

Hola, mi nombre es Abby Sofía Berrio Cera. Tengo 8 años, estoy en tercer grado de primaria y vivo en Bogotá, Colombia.

A principios de este año, mi ojo se puso muy rojo y me dolía mucho. Al principio, los médicos me dieron gotas, pero no funcionaron. Mi condición empeoró rápidamente y se me hacía muy difícil incluso abrir el ojo.

Después de ver a un especialista, mis padres supieron que tengo un problema serio en mi ojo derecho y que necesito una cirugía urgente para salvar mi visión. Sin esta operación, podría perder mi ojo derecho.

Mi familia ha hecho todo lo posible para obtener ayuda a través de nuestro proveedor de salud, pero la cirugía no ha sido aprobada. Lamentablemente, no contamos con los recursos económicos para pagar este procedimiento por nuestra cuenta—y el tiempo se está agotando.
