Help Iris Rebuild After Hardship

Hi friends,

Life has thrown me some unexpected challenges recently and I’m reaching out for support as I work to rebuild and create a safer, healthier future for myself.

For those who don’t know, I’ve been a full-time free caregiver for my mom since March after she had her stroke while also managing my own health challenges after leaving an abusive relationship in February. Over time, the home environment with my family became increasingly unhealthy for me, and I had to make the difficult decision to leave for my safety and wellbeing.

I’ve found a safe place to stay temporarily, but starting over from scratch has left me with limited resources and financial stability. I’m currently raising funds to help cover:

Immediate needs: food, transportation, and moving expenses.

Long-term goals: securing stable housing and creating a foundation for financial independence.

Asking for help is not easy for me, but I know I can’t do this alone. Even the smallest contribution or shared resource will make a meaningful difference. I know this is the holiday season, if you’re unable to donate, sharing this campaign with others would mean just as much and help expand its reach.
