Help Abby race in Australia!

Hi, Abby has been invited to participate in the 2024 Coast 2 Coast International Athletics Track and Field meet, held in Queensland, Australia from July 12th - 14th at the Gold Coast Performance Centre! Abby received her invitation based on her qualifying time in the 200m dash during her Outdoor Track season last year, and she has only gotten faster since then! Abby will join a team of talented athletes from all over the United States who will travel together to compete against high school athletes from both Australia and New Zealand in an IAAF track meet.

The journey will start from Los Angeles, California where they will first fly to Sydney, Australia for a day, and then on to Brisbane Australia. From Brisbane, Team USA will take a bus to where they will be staying at the Gold Coast Performance Centre. This is an amazing facility where they will train, eat and sleep and connect with the other athletes from all over the United States until the 12th - 14th which is the three-day international track and field competition.

To keep an athlete’s status as an amateur track and field athlete, a significant source of funds need to be raised through voluntary contributions from family, friends, and local businesses. Your sponsorship will be a critical part of Abby's fundraising efforts, so we are looking for sponsors like you to contribute towards her being an ambassador and representing the United States in this one-of-a-kind competition.

Any contribution will help Abby achieve her goal of representing the USA in this Coast 2 Coast International Track Meet. The total cost is $5395.00, which will cover airfare, food, ground transportation, uniform, entry fee and lodging.

Every person, organization, or business that sponsors an athlete will have their name placed into a drawing for five different $100 VISA gift cards that will be given away by Coast 2 Coast International Athletics on July 1, 2024. Abby's Aunt and Uncle have also donated a backyard fire pit (thank you Uncle Mark!) for a drawing to be held with entries from all of her sponsors!
