Hey y'all, my name is Jack and I'm one of Abby's friends in Savannah, Georgia. Abby recently moved to Illinois with her mother, Deborah, and had recently purchased land with intentions to build herself, her mother, and her cats a place to call home. That dream was cut short today, July 9th around 6pm EST when someone threatened to stab her and her mother and the police were called. The aggressor was NOT arrested but police saw it fit to arrest Abby and her mother and subsequently charge them. I'm trying to get all the details worked out as best as I can but there is some delay because I live so far away and do not know any of their extended family, but I'm putting together plans to get them a lawyer to help them out of this unjust situation so they can get back to their lives. As of right now, I am making regular calls to the Belleville Police Department to see their charges and I am waiting for their bond to be posted.
