Abby is my best friend and coworker, and she’s dedicated her life to working with dogs as a traveling stunt dog trainer and performer. She trains all types, from breeder-raised to rescues, but her true passion is rescuing dogs and giving them a second chance. Through her work, Abby spreads awareness about the importance of spaying and neutering across the United States by training her dogs to perform incredible, inspiring stunts. In her spare time, she teaches seminars that help strengthen the bond between dogs and their handlers. I’ve seen this firsthand—she played a huge role in shaping the relationship I have with my own dog, Cheese.
For the past nine years, Abby has lived and traveled in her RV—“Babzilla”—which serves as both her home and transportation. After 20 years on the road, it’s beginning to fail. Ongoing mechanical issues and costly repairs have made travel increasingly unsafe. Despite multiple inspections over the past two years, the problems remain, and it’s clear she now needs a new RV or major repairs. While our job may seem glamorous, there are real challenges behind the scenes. Reliable transportation is essential, and caring for 12 dogs while dealing with constant vehicle issues is incredibly stressful. Above all, her dogs’ safety is her number one priority.
With the current uncertainty in the economy and shows being canceled due to ICE this past November, it’s become even more difficult to rely on consistent income, making it unclear what the financial future holds.
I’m raising funds because I truly believe in Abby and her mission. She has built her life around helping dogs and making a difference. Any support will go directly toward safe, reliable transportation so she and her dogs can continue their journey. If you’re able to help, any donation—no matter the size—would mean so much to Abby, her partner Sam, and their dogs as they travel across the United States. Your support will go directly toward giving them a safe, reliable way to continue traveling, performing, and spreading their message all across the United States. Even if you can’t donate, sharing this fundraiser would make a HUGE difference. Thank you for being part of their journey and helping them continue doing what they love while most importantly keeping their dogs safe.
