Help Abby Get a New Heart

April 14, 2003 Abby Thibodeau was born, but her delivery wasn't a typical one. Abby was born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome- she only has half a heart. After undergoing three surgeries by the time she was three years old, Abby has been able to live what looks like a "normal" life on the outside. However, at 21 years old, Abby is now in need of a heart transplant.

Abby has been in the hospital for nearly a month and will continue to be there until she is able to have a heart transplant. Abby's parents, Jeff and Mara, have had to commute between their hometown and the hospital four hours away. In addition to the medical bills, they are affected by transportation, food, and lodging costs.
