This year has been devastating for Abby Porter, my cousin. She has lost both her biological mother and father, and while still grieving, she is facing severe financial hardship. Abby co-signed on a car loan for a family member, believing she was helping. The vehicle was later surrendered without her knowledge, and a judgment was entered against her. As a result, her wages are now being garnished.

The garnishment has made it impossible for Abby to pay her rent and utilities. She is working full-time and doing everything she can to stay afloat, but the financial strain is overwhelming. Abby is trying to remain hopeful and strong, but the emotional toll of losing her parents and the financial stress has made this time especially difficult. She is determined to get through this, but she needs help from her community to find stability and relief.
