Help Abby Fight Stage 3 Lymphoma

Life can change in an instant, and mine has been turned upside down over the past month. I am learning to face each day with strength, faith, and gratitude, but I need help along the way.

On August 21st, I was admitted to Kadlec with severe stomach pain. A CT scan revealed enlarged lymph nodes in my lower abdomen, and a biopsy confirmed the worst—cancer. After spending 9 days in the hospital, I was released, only to suffer a severe seizure two days later that caused me to flatline. Thanks to my dad and brother performing life-saving measures, I survived. In the process, I dislocated my jaw and had to be treated in the ER. The next morning, I experienced three more seizures and was readmitted. Another CT scan revealed that in just 10 days, the cancer had already grown by 10%.

I was immediately life-flighted to the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle, where doctors performed more tests, a PET scan, and started chemotherapy right away. On September 5th, I officially began treatment at Fred Hutch in Seattle. I was diagnosed with Stage 3 ALK Positive Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma (ALK+ ALCL), an aggressive form of cancer that had spread from my abdomen to my neck.

My oncologist told me this cancer is extremely aggressive, but he intends to be more aggressive. With chemotherapy, I have a 60–65% chance of being cured and that gives me hope.

My treatment plan includes chemotherapy every 21 days for 4 months, along with frequent follow-up appointments in Seattle. This means constant travel and medical expenses, which are adding up quickly.

Through all of this, I’ve been blessed with the unwavering support of my parents and family, who have dropped everything to care for me and take me to appointments. I’m also deeply grateful for the love, prayers, and kind words from friends and loved ones, they truly keep me going.
I’m creating this GoFundMe to help cover travel costs, medical expenses, and other needs during treatment. Any support, whether through a donation, prayer, or simply sharing my story, means the world to me.

Thank you for walking alongside me in this fight. I’m holding onto hope, leaning on faith, and trusting that brighter days are ahead.
